Coronavirus Updates from Santee Cooper Credit Union
At Santee Cooper Credit Union, we are actively monitoring and implementing recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as from our local and state officials regarding the Coronavirus. Our number one priority is keeping our staff and members safe.
What are our plans?
As of now, we do not have plans to close our branches or have limited hours, but as we continue to monitor the spread of the Coronavirus, we may have to make adjustments. As of Monday, March 16, 2020, the lobbies of both of our branches will be closed until further notice for transactions. However, if you have a debit and/or credit card issue, loan request or need an account opened, we will make accommodations. Our drive-thru remains open during this time and we encourage members to use that service as we have made it our top priority to move members through the line as quickly as possible.
How can we help you during this time?
Santee Cooper Credit Union would like to provide some financial relief for our members during this time. With that being said, we would like to give members the opportunity to skip+ up to 2 monthly loan payments (excluding Real Estate) to help you get through this historic event. If you have more than one loan with us, you may be eligible to skip those payments as well. Please note that you will need to fill out an application for each loan.
The application can be sent to you electronically to sign or you are more than welcome to receive a printed copy through our drive-thru.

Transfer funds between your accounts at Santee Cooper Credit Union.
Make payments using our Bill Pay Service.
Schedule and pay all your bills online, electronically or by check.
Turn your debit and credit card on and off.
Simply download our CardValet® App that gives you the ability to control your SCCU cards by using your smartphone.
Send money to others (i.e. Pay Anyone).
We have a new service known as Person to Person Payment (P2P) that allows you to send money to anyone. All you need is that person's e-mail address or phone number where they can receive text messages.
Open new sub-accounts online such as additional savings accounts and Share Certificates.
Apply for a loan online.
You can visit our website to apply for a loan online. We can send all required loan paperwork electronically to get everything processed.
Access cash at over 30,000 ATMs.

+Interest will continue to accrue on all skipped loan payments. By signing the Skip-A-Pay application, you are authorizing Santee Cooper Credit Union to extend the due date of your final loan payment by the number of payments skipped. You understand that interest will continue to accrue at your current loan rate. Regular payments will resume on the first regular payment date of the month following the skipped payment(s). If your skipped loan has GAP coverage and you need to file a claim, it may affect the amount paid on your claim. If loan payments are being paid by disability insurance, a postponement will not be granted. All Skip-A-Payment requests are subject to approval. Restrictions may apply.Go to main navigation
